Tribikram Narayan temple is located on the southern arena of Yakshyashwor Mahadev Temple.  The temple is faced to the east and is made in the Shikhara style. It is said that the statue of the temple got lost which was of Tribikram Narayan. The temple was first made during the reign of King Jitamitra Malla.

The Tribikram Narayan temple is located at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, on the southern part of Yakshyashwor temple.

Of course, most of the temples are believed to have been established during the Malla period, as the existing Bhaktapur Durbar Square was said to have been constructed during the early Malla period.

This temple was also partially damaged during the earthquake of 2015.
