Many visitors miss visiting nearby places of Bhaktapur because of their sort of time. With the limited time, they also miss the renowned as well as well-preserved addresses of Bhaktapur which are all processed in a traditional manner.
We all know that from the centenaries, the Bhaktapur Durbar, Taumadhi, Pottery and Dattatraya Squares have captivated the hearts of visitors from all around the globe. However, roaming only on these squares does not fulfil the experience of the true diversity and richness of Bhaktapur.
To understand the culture, scenery, people and the actual Bhaktapur, one must linger longer than a day. Since, there is a very good selection of overnight accommodations in Bhaktapur, from quaint guesthouses to deluxe hotels all built in the traditional Newari architectural style, you can rest at ease and enjoy the Newari hospitality.
Nonetheless, with this package, you would experience the splendour and friendly welcomeness of this ancient kingdom. As already mentioned, just a day tour to Bhaktapur is not enough to apprehend the actual beauty of Bhaktapur city. And, here we have a better way to grab that opportunity.
Simply by adding one more day to your itinerary.
This one night two days tour package of Bhaktapur moreover gives you the opportunity to live the ancient lifestyle. From morning worshipping to evening praying hymns, the scenery of temples lightened up by the flickering handmade oil lamps, senior citizens performing the musical i.e drums and a high pitched, resonant, tuneful ringing of cymbals. All these moments would be a part of your trip.
This trip would also cover a drive to the oldest temple of Nepal i.e, Changu Narayan and a hike to the foremost nearest hill station. Don’t worry, we would plan it depending on your request.
Optional programme at your request…in exchange for Changu Narayan temple
Hiking to the nearest hills
Ghyampe dada (Pilot Baba ashram) – 4 -5 hrs
Mali Gaun- 3-4 hours
Suryavinayak Ganesh Shrine and Gundu Village Shiva temple ( 3 hrs)
We would be picking up you from the hotel or airport directly transferring to the Bhaktapur hotel for a refresh. We would then tour the four squares of Bhaktpur having lunch at a Newari restaurant. You can have an evening walk at your own pace or request a guide to explore the evening activities as well as other aspects of Bhaktapur. Dinner and night stay at Bhaktapur Nagara.
Before heading toward Changu, early in the morning, we once again roam a little around the alleys of Bhaktapur. Then after having breakfast, we would drive to Changu. From there, we would go for a small hike toward Trishul danda which approximately would take half an hour to one hour to complete. The awesome scenery of Trishul Danda won’t give you a chance to regret that hike. Which after, we head back to Changu and have lunch over there. Since Changu holds the most ancient temple of Nepal, “the Changu Narayan temple”, we would go to see the temple and nearby places and eventually return from there.
Yes, of course. You can modify it anytime you like. We are quite versatile to our destinations, so, it wouldn't be difficult for us to improve the plan.
Yes, of course. We would love to.
