Bhaktapur Nagarkot Tour Package

The overnight stay in Bhaktapur and Nagarkot package is a well-designed programme where one can enjoy the blend of art and nature of Bhaktapur and Nagarkot respectively. Here, Bhaktapur is one among the three royal cities of Kathmandu valley that existed equivalently before the 12th century. And, it is a fact that this particular city is one of the best-preserved cities in regards to culture, art, ethnicity, language and tradition.

Whereas, Nagarkot is one of the most popular hill stations of Bhaktapur. Gaining the status of being the highest point of Bhaktapur, renders us an awe-inspiring view of the panoramic mountains, beautiful sunrise as well as the sunset.  It would take an hour drive to reach over there since it lies 35 km beyond Bhaktapur.

The Bhaktapur tour covers four major squares of Bhaktapur but also includes a variety of local experiences with the visit to handicraft and wood carving centre, yoghurt factory (tasting too), and pottery square.

On the other hand, this tour package would also have the hiking thrill to the hills of Bhaktapur. Although the hike would be depending on your interest, it will be an awesome hike.

On top of that, this tour package includes the Nagarkot in it. Nagarkot, which people prefer to travel as a separate destination just for the sunset and sunrise view, we would also be covering those activities at Nagarkot.

Moreover, there would be another hike mostly going downward from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan temple which usually takes 3-4 hrs.

Note: The itinerary could be flexible depending on your request and interest as you go with the package. Many aspects of this programme can be customised to suit your specific desires. If you have any requirements or need any changes, you can write to us without hesitation.

Detail Itinerary

Arrival and excursion around Bhaktapur city

Bhaktapur is such an ancient city, where hundreds and hundreds of years old culture, as well as monuments, are still standing and heartily welcomes you to be a praiser of such beauty. However, one can also never forget the narrow and confusing streets and the taste of a legendary newa dish and drink.  But before experiencing all these things, we have to pick you up from the hotel/airport and transfer you to the hotel in Bhaktapur. Only after, we would start an excursion to the cultural town of Bhaktapur.  Overnight stay within the Bhaktapur Nagara.

Hike and transfer to Nagarkot

This morning, after breakfast, we would hike to the nearest hill station of Bhaktapur. Here are the options. It could be Pilot Baba, Ghyampe Danda or the Ranikot fort.  And, lastly, we would drive to Nagarkot Hill Station for a sunset view.  Overnight stay at Nagarkot.

Another short hike and Departure

Nagarkot, besides the amazing mountainous view, is also very popular for the sunrise scene. We would make you wake up a little early if you wish not to miss the epic sunrises. Then, after breakfast, we would hike down to Changu Narayan temple via Telkot and Trishul Danda. If time supports us, we would also roam a little in Changu Narayan temple and then drive back to Bhaktapur and depart.
