Jarsing Pauwa
Jarsing Pauwa or Lapshiphedi is one of the newer tourist sites, evolved in the Kathmandu valley for those looking for a more remote location.
Jarsing Pauwa is known for its picnic activities, Tea Garden or Mini Ilam, and lush green surroundings. From Jarsing Pauwa, you can take in a breathtaking vista of the mountain.
Visitors will find enough to do in this little village. Another notable feature is that paragliding is available in Jarsing Pauwa.
Distance: 9.8 kilometres via Kattike Dandagaun Marga (about half an hour of vehicle ride from Nagarkot Bus stop)
Nagarkot View tower
Nagarkot is more known for its view tower. Anyone who steps onto Nagarkot is obligated to visit the lookout tower. Your adventure to the observation tower would finally be over after hopping up a few stairwells through a forest.
It just covers a little area, but it is lovely and calm.

Nagarkot Buddhist Monastery
Unfortunately, just a few people are aware of this location nowadays. And those who reach out to touch it are enthralled by the scene. Despite the fact that it is a destination, you can include it in your hike.

Buddha peace park

Nagarkot Bat Cave
The Bat Cave of Nagarkot sounds intriguing. However, it is not as well-known as some of Nagarkot’s other attractions. Only a few people are fully aware of it.
This bat cave is around 2 kilometres from Muhan Pokhari, one of Bhaktapur’s most popular tourist attractions. As a result, you will have a better trekking experience there. The Yeti Cave can also be visited as a result of this.
Muhan Pokhari
Muhan pokhari, the natural stream falling down from Nagarkot waterfall is the best place to play with spring water. The place gets crowded especially at the weekends.
This place is solely proposed for playing in the water beneath nature. No religious significance nor any profitable business (totally free) are encountered there.

Kalamasi
Kalamasi, crowned as the artificial lake of Bhaktapur is not only one of the great water reservoirs of Bhaktapur but is also the best place to do camping and hiking.
In between the dense jungle, there are some spots perfect for picnics and camping. However, the sounds of insects could bug you.

Nagarkot Picnic Spot
It’s not the Nagarkot view tower. Quite ahead from the view tower there is this place with a number of trees. But, the view from that point is beautiful.
